Ruth Price is the pen name for Gill Budgell, a UK based English Language author and publishing consultant with extensive experience having worked with a wide range of major UK based publishers including OUP, CUP, Pearson and Macmillan in various roles. She has been both lead author as well as contributing author on a vast number of projects in her long career including globally recognised reading, phonics handwriting and English Language series. Gill continues to judge for the annual high-profile industry awards and frequently represents clients at The Publishers Association, The British Educational Suppliers Association and The All Party Parliamentary Group in Westminster.
