Derek McMonagle is a UK based author, examiner and curriculum design and educational consultant. He has written 100+ books and other educational support materials for major UK based publishers including for Macmillan, Collins, Pearson and Nelson Thornes. He has worked extensively in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Caribbean on a variety of projects relating to examinations, the provision of educational materials and curriculum design. At various times he has held Chief Examiner positions in both O Level and A Level Chemistry, and other Chief Examiner posts in O Level and GSCE Science. He holds a PhD in Chemistry and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
